Sketchup plugin tutorial: 

Here’s another interesting plugin with a lot of potential. Follow and Rotate (FAR) and is definately a niche plugin and can be a bit quirky/buggy but could be really useful if you’re doing some specialized modeling (cables, ropes, spires, steeples, stalagtites/stalagmites, etc…).

First step:

  •  Select a face or faces and then select a line, arc, or a series of both welde.
  •  Make sure that you select the face(not its surrounding lines).

Second step:

1- click Follow & Rotate in the Plugins menu.

Third step:

1- You tell the plugin how many degrees of rotation you want the face to rotate as it follows the line.
2- Click ok.

The result :

1- Degree :12    scale : 01

Tuto :

- You select the area and click on the command .

- You select the "profile" and the two "rails" (possibly the "melding profile")

- You choose what direction to extrude along the surface (only "profile", only "rails" or both)

- In this case you chose both

Vray Proxy grass using Sketchup 2015 fur plugin:

  • Everyone is capable of learning. Learning is part of life.
  • Being able to make a nice lawn realistic is one of the first difficulties we encounter when we begin to make our first render.
Basically, with any rendering engine we are working on, not only you need to choose the excellent textures (sometimes I see lawns that look just the floors) but you also have to choose the suitable texture to the scene.
-This is a tutorial on how to create and render realistic grass as pro using sketchup 2015  fur plugin 2.1 and vray proxy.
